Sunrise Dahlias

When we were marinating ideas for our logo, we wanted there to be meaning behind it, as we try to put meaning and intention behind everything we do. The significance behind our logo is twofold. Our sunrises and sunsets here on the farm are pretty spectacular and something we look forward to witnessing every night. Most evenings we make our way out to the pasture to close out our day with the animals. A post dinner ritual if you will- one that we can't wait to get back to now that winter is finally wrapping up its stay! The mornings are my time to do chores with the animals. I make my way out in the mornings when it's still dark, so look forward to my Eastside show. A beautiful way to start and end the day. A bit of a prayerful and meditative time here before the busyness of the day begins. In those magical hours at sunrise and sunset we are able to see the farm for the raw beauty that it is, not all the work that needs done.

The second half of the logo story is the dahlia! Dahlias are our thing, so we knew they would somehow be looped into the logo. We married the ideas, and the logo was born. A sunrise/sunset dahlia that Tyler spent much time sketching his vision as it came to life. Fun fact- he did the whole logo by hand. It's 100% authentically Tyler drawn. The logo represented all that we intended for it. Our sunrises and sunsets. Our love for dahlias and our love for this space. That, our friends, is how the sunrise dahlia was born.
